The idea is simple enough...

What’s The Idea?

Disabled people are almost twice as likely to be unemployed as non-disabled people. However, The shift towards homeworking has opened up opportunities for some disabled people.  This is particularly so for those who found the daily commute difficult or working in a traditional office challenging.

At the same time, there is a shortage of people to work in many sectors.

This strikes us as the perfect time to make a difference. We can assist disabled people to pursue meaningful and challenging careers, whilst at the same time, helping employers ease their recruitment problems.

The Idea Is Straight Forward, But We Must Move Quickly

Economies change and employers’ memories of what's possible fade. If we don't do something now, the chance could be gone. (See Why Now?)

So what should we do? We know we don't have all the answers and we don't have the time to make mistakes on a 'hunch'.

What Might Work?

Our focus is on finding the right solution. No area is off-limits - we are not restricting ourselves to areas we've worked in before.

That's why we're asking other people what they would do. The more experience we can 'borrow', the more likely we'll succeed.
